Microneedling disclaimer. If you are or have:
Used of Accutane or Isotretinoin within the last 6 months.
Open wounds, cuts or abrasions on the area being treated.
Had radiation treatment to the skin within the last year.
Any kind of current skin infection or herpes simplex in the area to be treated. (Micro-needling can trigger outbreaks).
Pregnant or breast feeding.
Any history of keloid scars. (in the area being treated).
Poor wound healing.
Eczema, Psoriasis, Active Acne, Rosacea, or other chronic skin conditions (in the area being treated).
Actinic (Solar) Keratosis.
Diabetes. (delayed wound healing).
Presence of raised moles, warts, or lesions within treatment area.
Had micro-needling within the last 4 weeks.
Had Botox within 2 weeks or dermal filler injected within the last 4 weeks of the micro-needling treatment. (In the area that will be treated).
Have blood clotting problems.
Collagen vascular diseases.
Been diagnosed with Immunosuppression.
Active bacterial or fungal infection.
Scars less than 3 months old.
Dermaplaning disclaimer. If you are or have:
Botox or Fillers - Please wait for 1 week after injection. Dermaplaning after injection can move the product causing an undesirable result.
Retin-A - Please stop using it 5 days prior to treatment and post-treatment.
Chemical peel - Dermaplaning may be done prior to a peel. Post-peel, wait for 14+ days depending upon strength and depth of the peel and condition of your skin. This will vary by client and treatment.
Laser treatment - Dermaplaning may be done prior to laser treatment with proper training. Post-laser, wait for 14+ days depending upon treatment and condition of your skin. This will vary by client and treatment.
IPL - Dermaplaning may be done prior to treatment with proper training. Post-IPL wait for 10+ days depending upon treatment and condition of your skin. This will vary by client and treatment.
Diabetes - Must be under control by diet or medication.
Cancer - Not while undergoing treatment. Following conclusion of treatments doctor approval required.
Accutane or Isotretinoin – If, after 12 months of non-use and with doctors’ approval.
Blood thinners or history of bleeding problems/delayed coagulation following injury.
Higher dosages or frequency of use of Aspirin.
Cold sores. Please wait until it is completely healed.
Sunburn or windburned skin – Please wait until it is calmed.
Chemical peel disclaimer.
Use of Accutane in the last 6 months.
Active herpes simplex (cold sores).
Excessively sensitive skin.
Pregnant or breastfeeding.
Bad reaction to a peel in the past.
Recent radiation treatment for cancer.
Sun burn or sun exposure in the last 2 days.
Allergic to Resorcinol, salicylic acids, or sun.
Blood vessel disease.
Any inflammation, irritation, or infection of the skin.
Kidney or liver disease.
1 week before your peel:
Waxing, shaving or laser hair removal.
Retin-A, Renova, Differin (adapalene 0.1%), Tazarac or any products that contain Retinol.
At least 2 days before peel:
Any products that contain AHA or BHA, or benzyl peroxide.
Any exfoliating products that may be drying or irritating.
